Work programme

The work programme is divided in work packages, each with a different focus:

The following research activities will be carried out:

  • Technological and market/economic risk assessment, analysis of future market potentials.
  • Socio-economic research and analysis relating to integration of energy performance
  • Improvement into local community development plans (increasing social cohesion, for example by common information/dissemination activities and the creation of local employment).
  • Research on social impacts relating to quality of life, end-users behaviour, cost reduction and added value of energy services.

Both the demonstration projects and the research program will deliver results and outputs to be disseminated. Information sources and tools, delivering results of the projects suppose to raise confidence in new technologies by demonstrating the integrated approach for energy supply and demand. Documentation will be provided to support future implementation of new policies and schemes, new regulations, improvement of security of supply and planning guidance.

Data collection and analysis of total conventional and renewable energy flows in each community, including electricity, heating and cooling will take place.

Associate Communities
Between the partners and associate communities an internal training to exchange knowledge takes place.
